To our Arizona Gifted Academy community,

After thoughtful consideration, the Arizona Gifted Academy Board of Directors has made the difficult decision not to open for the 2026–2027 school year.

This was not a decision we made lightly. Throughout the planning process, our priority has always been to provide an exceptional educational experience for gifted learners. As we evaluated our readiness for the upcoming school year, the Board determined that we were not in a position to deliver the high-quality program and learning environment that families deserve. This decision was based on a combination of facility-related considerations and enrollment for our inaugural year.

Although we are disappointed, we still remain committed to advocating for gifted learners within Arizona, who deserve holistic, engaging, and equitable education access—like all young scholars.

We are incredibly grateful to the families who believed in our vision, encouraged us, and chose to be part of Arizona Gifted Academy's founding community. Your enthusiasm and support have meant more than you know.
